Tom Pynn

Tom's literary
experiences began when he started composing poetry at 14. Since that time he
has worked on numerous literary magazines including The Chattahoochee Review. With the help of J.E. Pitts and
others, he founded Potlatch: a creative
arts journal while in graduate school at The University of Mississippi. Since that time his
poetry has appeared in Earth First! Journal and Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and the Environment. Tom is Instructor of
Philosophy at Kennesaw State University where he teaches introduction to
philosophy, philosophies of peace, aesthetics, and this fall will be
instructing an honors seminar on Beat aesthetics. Tom lives
in the Coosa River Basin of Georgia with his wife Julie, daughter Abbey, two
dogs (Kaya and Gisselle),
and three cats (Luthien, Maya, and Zeus).
